Board Members
LDI's Board has six members:
J.A. Lacy
President and Chief
Executive Officer
FinishMaster, Incorporated

J.A. Lacy serves as
President and Chief Executive Officer of FinishMaster, the
leading independent distributor of automotive coatings and
associated products in the U.S. The company employs over 1,700
associates in 29 states.
FinishMaster’s primary focus is the collision repair market. The company’s aim is to
gain share in this highly fragmented $2.5 billion industry via
acquisition and by leveraging scale to achieve advantage over
competitors. FinishMaster’s value proposition is to provide
superior distribution basics and value added information to its
customers enabling them to increase productivity, manage
material costs and increase profits.
A native of Indianapolis,
J.A. has lived and worked in Chicago, Vancouver and Hong Kong.
He previously served as President of Tucker Rocky Canada
and as Vice President of J. Walter Thompson. He is an avid runner and reader and enjoys volunteering at
various local charities including serving as Chairman for the
United Way’s Tocqueville Society and as a Director for the YMCA,
Central Indiana Women’s Fund and United Way. J.A. also serves
on the SKL Executive Leadership Services Advisory Board.
J.A. earned a Masters in
Business Administration from the University of Chicago in 1996
and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre
Dame. He is married to Elizabeth, a corporate attorney in
Indianapolis, and they have four children.
Michael L. Smith

Mike Smith
served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of
Anthem, Inc. and its subsidiaries, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield
– which merged with Wellpoint (NYSE:WLP) - before retiring in 2005.
Mike was the co-executive sponsor of Anthem’s $4.0 billion initial
public offering in 2001 executing one of the largest IPOs in the
history of the New York Stock Exchange. His retirement followed the
merger of Anthem and WellPoint Health Networks, Inc.
Prior to joining Anthem,
Mike was Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of
Mayflower Group, Inc. from 1989 to 1995. Mayflower operated a
worldwide relocation service. He started his business career with
Arthur Andersen after graduating from DePauw University in 1970.
Mike serves on
several Boards of Directors including First Indiana Corporation,
InterMune, Kite Realty Group Trust, and FinishMaster. Mike also
serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of DePauw University,
the Michigan Maritime Museum and the Park Tudor School Trust. His
prior community service included leadership roles with the
Indianapolis Symphony, the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, the
Family Support Center, St. Vincent’s Hospital Foundation, the
Eiteljorg Museum and Crossroads Rehabilitation Center.
Jerry W. Throgmartin

Jerry Throgmartin serves as Chairman
and Chief Executive Officer and a Director of H.H. Gregg Appliances
(NYSE:HGG), a leading specialty retailer of premium video products,
brand name appliances, audio products and accessories. He joined
H.H. Gregg in 1975. He has served as Chairman and Chief Executive
Officer since January 2003 and a Director since 1988. From 1999 to
January 2003 he also served as H.H. Gregg’s Chief Executive Officer
and President. From 1988 to 1999 he served as the President and
Chief Operating Officer. Other positions held by Mr. Throgmartin
within H.H. Gregg include store manager, district manager,
advertising director and Vice President of Store Operations.
Jerry is a Trustee of the University
of Indianapolis and serves on the boards of the Indiana University
Cancer Center and Throgmartin-Henke Development.
